Always stack up on resources
Resources are a necessity for any combat-related activity in Minecraft Legends. Whether it's constructing buildings, spawning units, upgrading bases, or acquiring legendary units, everything requires resources. Therefore, it's essential to gather resources whenever you're in an area with them, which is practically everywhere except for areas affected by netherrack. To avoid the risk of insufficient resources during combat, make it a habit to instruct your resource-gathering allies to collect wood, stone, and ore whenever possible.
Exploring the map is crucial
Efficient exploration is crucial in Minecraft Legends, just like in any real-time strategy game. This is because giving opponents a head start can be disadvantageous. In campaign mode, uncovering the overworld is necessary to locate special locations such as the 'first golem' legendary mob, stun tower, and mount locations. However, awakening legendary mobs or collecting towers at the start of the game may not be feasible due to a shortage of resources. Thus, it's more efficient to prioritize gathering materials and upgrading your base before exploring too much. Only when you have sufficient rare resources should you venture out.
BUILD AT EVERY VILLAGE
Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 features several weapons, including the Overclocked Pulse Rifle and Havoc Suppressed Assault Rifle, that consume ammunition at an alarming rate. During a heated battle, it's common for players to utilize more than 200 bullets within seconds. That's why it's essential to ensure a sufficient reserve of ammo at all times.In Minecraft Legends, protecting villages from Piglin attacks is just as crucial as dismantling Nether Portals. To defend against enemy hordes effectively, it's recommended to fortify each village as you come across them. Taking the time to build walls, watchtowers, and other defenses around the perimeter can simplify the defense process when under attack. It's also advisable to be creative with your defenses, such as constructing V-shaped walls or a bridge that leads to an enclosure. However, ensure that there's at least one gate to enter and exit the village.
Utilize the songbook to research all your discoveries
In Minecraft Legends, the Songbook is a valuable tool that players may overlook. Located on the right joystick button by default (on controller), the Songbook is a hub for everything players have seen and can do in the game. From buildings to mobs and improvements, players can customize their hot bars for those categories, which is crucial for success as they progress in the game.
Moreover, the Songbook also keeps a record of everything discovered in Minecraft Legends and the Overworld. If players encounter a new Piglin mob or building that they find challenging, they can open the Songbook for useful information to overcome the threat. The Songbook records everything relevant, so players should take advantage of this knowledge hub.
Always check the map to see what the Piglins are up to
Piglins are not passive and await your attack. They are always on the move and scheming, so it is crucial to stay ahead of their plans. Fortunately, the map provides valuable assistance in this regard. Piglin horns sound every day to reveal their movements and intentions, and the map translates this information to show their upcoming actions.
Piglins can establish new outposts near their strongholds, enhance their bases with upgraded defenses, construct new strongholds to replace the ones you defeated, besiege friendly settlements and villages, and even release large numbers of Piglins across the map, making nowhere safe during the night. To counter their strategies, it is essential to check the map daily to monitor Piglin activity and plan accordingly
BUILD A VARIED ARMY
While golems are helpful, they have their limitations. In Minecraft Legends, you can unlock additional golem types and recruit classic Minecraft creatures to enhance your fighting power. It's worth experimenting with different combinations to improve your chances of success in battles.
For instance, stone golems are useful for destroying enemy structures, but not as helpful during invasions. On the other hand, creepers and skeletons can't destroy fortresses and walls easily, but are more effective against enemy mobs compared to your wooden golems. Creepers can explode after a short period, while skeletons can shoot arrows over walls.
To make the most of your army, place your spawn points near the edge of your next battleground and try different combinations of unit types that best suit your style and needs.
