Flash grenades can instantly kill special enemies
In Resident Evil 4 Remake, the infected villagers are stronger than the zombies in Racoon City due to their ability to regenerate after death. These enemies develop tentacles that replace their heads, which increases their attack range and damage output. However, players can use flash grenades to instantly kill these enemies. The Merchant in the game sells a recipe to create flash grenades for 6,000 Pesetas, which players should purchase early on as these enemies become more common after chapter two. Additionally, flash grenades can temporarily stun regular enemies, allowing players to perform melee attacks on them.
The combat knife is your strongest weapon
It is highly recommended to upgrade and repair your combat knife regularly in Resident Evil 4 Remake because it is the most dependable weapon available. The knife is not only important for offense but also serves as a defensive tool, capable of deflecting powerful enemy attacks such as chainsaws and thrown axes. Furthermore, if you use the knife to stab enemies while they are transforming, it can prevent them from turning into their Plaga A form. Save Heavy Ammo For Big Enemies
It may be tempting to use heavy weapons like shotguns or rocket launchers whenever possible, but it's important to save them for difficult enemies. Parry & Evade When Possible and Lure Enemies

However, players should be cautious not to stand too close to the explosions as they can also harm Leon. Overall, utilizing explosive barrels and grenades strategically can be a useful tactic for taking down enemies in the game.
