Where are we dropping boys?
Our first tip for Warzone season 6 is to choose your landing spot carefully. There are a lot of popular landing spots in Warzone such as Superstore, Stadium and Airport. When choosing a place for your squad to land, take into consideration how many squads will land on that position. The less people landing at the position you want to land in, the higher your survival rate will be. Pick landing spots just outside of these popular hotspots. Loot up with your team and start heading to the hotspots to get more kills and in turn, gather more loot. If you do like dropping in these hotspots, we have another tip: Don’t forget about your melee! A lot of players who land in these hotspots tend to forget about their melee buttons. Keep in mind: It only takes 2 melee strikes to down an enemy. Players in Warzone all have different playstyles. Some play aggressive while others like to take it slow and stealthy.
Move from Buy station to Buy station
Buy stations are scattered all over the map Verdansk. The buy stations are used to buy for example loadouts, armor plate bundles and squad buybacks. A lot of team landing will first search for weapons, armor and cash. Usually, players in warzone collect cash to get a loadout drop as soon as possible so they can arm themselves with their own, custom guns. This makes buy stations the right place for you and your squad to ambush the enemy. Why? Because the enemy did all the looting for you.
When you setup an ambush at a buy station try getting multiple angles on your enemy. For example, a triangle formation works great. With three angles on your enemy, they will not find cover quickly and your squad will (in most cases) be victorious over your enemy after which you can take all their loot!
Customize your weapons to your liking
Warzone has all sort of customizable options. Characters, killstreaks and skins have plenty of options for customization but the most important, of course, is your weapon setup. Familiarize yourself with the weapons that suit you. Some prefer sniper rifles while others are more into SMG’s or ARs. Try to upgrade your weapons by playing with them to earn more attachments and perks. For example, a silencer on your gun will make it harder for your enemy to locate you. Build different loadouts for different situations so that you are always prepared for any situation. You can get your custom loadout in game from loadout drops that you can buy with cash at buy stations across the map.
Setup your perks in line with your loadout part 1-2
Next to customizable guns in your loadout you also have 3 perks per loadout that you can choose from. The perks you choose for Warzone are going to depend, largely, on what you're trying to achieve with your overall loadout. There are three types of perks you can choose from: Blue, Red and Yellow. All the perks have different attributes that can help you in battle so choose them wisely. That said, there are some standout perks that a lot of people use.
Setup your perks in line with your loadout part 2-2
Here are the most common perks used today:
Red:
- Overkill: Use this perk to carry 2 primary weapons.
- Ghost: This perk makes you invisible to enemy UAVs which are used a lot in the game.
- High Alert: Alerts you when a sniper is aiming at you or if a squad is nearby.
Blue:
- Cold-blooded: Makes you invisible to thermal sights.
- E.O.D.: More damage resistance to explosions and fire.
Yellow:
- Tune up: Reduces revive time by 25%.
- Tracker: Helps you spot your enemies faster.
Remember that you can make a lot of custom loadouts. Some perks are better used early game and others late game. Experiment with what perks work for you in both situations.
