Master jumping skills
Sounds easy but it is an important move in the game and good skills can definitely help you to survive. Take your time and practice jumping in some race games, for example, See Saw or Gate Crash. In these games you will not lose if you fall, instead you will appear at your last checkpoint. Master your skills to be able to jump as high, far and fast as you can. These abilities will help you to benefit in other games.
Diving is another skill to practice
Another easy and basic move that can get you out of many troubles is diving. In Fall Ball, a game where you will need to hit a ball into a goal, skills in diving will help you to score points easier. In Tail Tag the skill will help you to dodge other players to make sure they don't grab you.
Don't forget about grabbing skills
You will use grabbing in every game for many different reasons. For example, to create makeshift shortcuts in Slime Climb, to save yourself from falling in See Saw and to pull yourself up to higher ground. Also, you can use this move to hold others back. You can do it in games like Hoarders to stop a player from stealing a ball and giving your teammates an advantage. In Egg Scramble you need to grab eggs but you also need to grab other players when they will try to steal your eggs.
Follow someone’s lead
Usually a lot of things are happening in every single game, so you might end up in a situation which will look like chaos. So it is smart to try and follow a leader. For example, in Perfect Match you need to remember icons' location, so that you can jump on a safe platform. Instead of memorizing you can try to watch where the majority of other players are going to make sure you jump on a safe spot. Another game where you can follow someone is Block Party. Here the walls are coming off screen, so you might want to be in the front to see where the walls are coming to react really quickly, or you can be in the middle or back and follow others. In addition, turn on other players’ names in those games where you're trying to avoid them. This way you will know everyone's location.
Play as a team and Keep track of your direction
Instead you should cooperate. There are some games where you need to be a team player to score points. For example, Hoarders or Fall Ball. Cooperate and use your teammates to move on to the next round.
You should try to avoid the edges of suspended ground, meaning that if you have fallen, you will not fall off completely. Also, you should always have your gamepad pointed in the direction you want to go because if you manage to get your Guy up, you want to make sure he knows where to go next.
Customize your look and Remember your Guy
Don't lose track of your Guy. It is important to remember where your character is, as the game has a lot of vivid colours and similar characters, so it is pretty easy to lose your Guy. And if you do, you then probably will be running in the wrong direction. A costume might be able to help you to always recognize your Guy.
If you want to change the costume of your Guy, press on the clothes hanger tab on the main menu, where you can choose different clothes. Also, participation in season passes allows you to earn more customization options or you can redeem your Kudos in the shopping cart tab.
